What to Expect

Immerse yourself in the days of old
In 2013, festival founder Kira Phillips began planning what would eventually
become the Orlando Renaissance Festival. It took three years and the unwavering
support of a likewise driven team for the Orlando Renaissance Festival
to debut in 2016, and it's been full speed ahead ever since.

Enjoy Shopping, Shows, and food at our historical period themed event located in Orlando, Florida. As envisioned by the founder, Orlando Renaissance Festival is a place to see a variety of activities, art, people, and sights all wrapped into one. Anywhere from interactive acrobatics, live performances by medieval casts, a chance to meet the Duke and Duchess themselves, this festival is here to fascinate. If interacting and shows aren’t quite what you’re looking for, souvenirs and more are yours to take home from our marketplace and while you’re busy enjoying the atmosphere, settle down for a drink, our pub crawl, or a nice meal from our food vendors. You might even get to feed a donkey while you enjoy chilled refreshments.

The festival is located in the heart of a residential area known for its diversity,
and that’s exactly what Kira intended. Her vision of the Orlando Renaissance Festival
is one that caters to Orlando locals as well as highlights the talent, individuality,
and passion of creatives in Central Florida. In short, the Orlando Renaissance
Festival is a love letter to locals.
